COAGULATION OF THOUGHTS

Anurag Dasgupta

I. SEA OF RAIN

Hovering above the clouds,
I feel no remorse and pain -
But tears trickle down my face
When I hear the sea of rain.

I dry my sorrow deep within
I know I will never find you again,
Marooned and mortified
I drown myself in the sea of rain.

This blessedness of life
Keeps me searching, forever in vain –
My hopes have all been drenched
By the limpid sea of rain.

Trust I seek no more, my love
Though the wind still whispers your name,
In the coldness of the night
I still gaze at the sea of rain.

II. GREY IN THE SKY

Grey in the sky
When I bleed
Grey in the sky
When I really need.

I need to find
I need to cope
I need a perfect mind
And a little bit of hope.

Grey in the sky
Without you
Grey in the sky
Only you can do.
